The project: Liberi Nantes

Alberto Urbinati is a co-founder and president of Liberi Nantes, an Association created to tAlberto Urbinati is a co-founder and president of Liberi Nantes, a non-profit created to use football as a means to create inclusion: forming a football team made up entirely of refugees and asylum seekers.
The Non-profit has grown to cover a diverse set of activities and provide more opportunities for human connections, fostering a culture of dialogue between young people who meet at the Camp XXV Aprile in Rome. The space itself, historically an aggregator of the Roman suburbs of Pietralata that has been abandoned for a long time, was renovated by Liberi Nantes.
Alberto’s work is much in line with Goal 10 of the UN Agenda 2030, that is, “Reducing inequalities within states and between states”.
