The Social Promotion Association RISEWISE SEWD was founded in Genoa in 2020 to promote social inclusivity for women with disabilities through physical and/or sporting activities. RISEWISE SEWD therefore plays an educational role and contributes to women’s empowerment, thus supporting SDG 5 of the 2030 Agenda.
The APS RISEWISE SEWD does not focus solely on the issue of double discrimination (woman and disability) but also directs attention toward other individuals of any gender, age, social background, or temporary or permanent disability.

The activities primarily target women with disabilities but are open to all individuals regardless of gender, age, social background, or temporary or permanent disability status.
